With the conclusion of the Pinoy Gaming Festival two weekends ago, fans caught a glimpse of Mineski’s Julius “Julz” De Leon playing under the Ledion Dreamz tag and in blue instead of red. Our latest sources confirm that the Filipino carry has left the Mineski organisation.
It was “Nando” who stood in for Mineski during the Summer Assembly along with RR, Owa, Bimbo and Wootz. Despite earlier rumors that the latter was going to leave the team, it seems that it was Julz instead who would break up the Filipino dream team.
Back then, Ledion Dreamz manager Big Dog J made the announcement during his team’s first game of the tournament that it was going to be Julz’s debut as a member of his team. Yet, no official confirmation was released by the Mineski organisation and things went back to a lull.
Nattefrost, team manager of Mineski, has finally decided to set things…

Having defeated a struggling Mineski at the Gigabyte Dota 2 Masters last week, Giggles represents the face of a rising amateur Dota 2 competitive scene in South East Asia. “For now, we excel in the Gigabyte Dota 2 Masters,” explained Joseph, member of the Singaporean team.
Unknown internationally, the team is looking to make their first major break in the scene. While Joseph was assured in saying “Gigabyte Dota 2 Masters was just the beginning”, he acknowledged that “honestly, his team still lacked practice” after their switch to Dota 2 about a month ago.
He was also quick to add that while his victory over Mineski may be his team’s biggest international achievement, the Filipino team was “experiencing some lineup problems” and that affected their quality of…

DotATalk went inside the Malaysian DotA scene this week and spoke to team Rise, one of the country’s many rising amateur teams who are looking to make their break internationally. Playing DotA professionally was never in the books, says Xneverluv.
Despite the Malaysian scene having a long way to go before matching the Chinese or Filipinos, Xneverluv was hopeful and observed that ‘more people were getting paid’. When asked later about Orange as a prime example, he agreed that ‘they deserved it’ and that sponsorships would eventually come as a team wins more and more tournaments.
Possibly the highlight of the interview was the insight that the numbers of DotA tournaments in Malaysia were shrinking and ‘many cybercafes were going to run Dota 2 tournaments’. Xneverluv himself admitted that the team would ’soon focus on…

For a lot of MYM fans this news should be interesting. The old MYM lineup is now together again in Dota 2. It’s now in the roster of Eclypsia, a new organization who only generated attention in StarCraft II, yet. Link was kicked out of the old Quantic roster and replaced by the teams old mate PlaymatE.
Statement by
Brian ‘MaNia’ Strandby:
The ultimate dream for all dota2 players out there, is the chance to play dota2 for a living and fully being able to concentrate on the game itself. We are so lucky to have been given that chance by Eclypsia. We have also made a change in the roster itself. The roster is now strengthened by my old teammate from MYM, Playmate. I believe we in the future can provide some strong results with this roster, and everyone in the roster will use our hunger to be the best as fuel to win. I hope our fans will keep supporting us, since we rely so much on your support!
Current roster Eclypsia.Dota2:
